Every last Thursday of the month the disco sparkles with starlight. Club Anvil first saw the light of strobe in February 2000.

Anvil was established because the club scene in Helsinki didn’t really offer an alternative to house & what not, a club where you could dance, yet enjoy some wonderful pop tunes. 

Offering a monthly touch of fantasy, it took off gloriously, catering to the taste of gothic, the would-be-retro-futuristic-revivalist, the indie-y and the well fun-loving anyone out on a Thursday night.

Romantic in attitude, dreaming, pretty, and yet so full of thought and emotion – Anvil is going stronger than ever! We’ve seen a live performance, and we still have a few tricks up our sleeves…
